Me, Bunda and the kids.

It’s almost 12:30 -- Saturday, I’m at my office (working, of course) and just about to be ready to pack my things before a friend’ message just popped up in my window. Somehow the hello discussion led to a blog discussion which then I just came to remember that: Hey, what is happening to my Hamims’ blog?

Good to know that the blog is still there. Apparently Bunda is adding few new posts. What a long break since I posted mine back in mid 2007. Kemana aja ya? What happened?

Life is so dynamic and I consider myself as a dynamic person. Back in mid 2007, I decided to pursue another challenge in a new company. Larger team, broader responsibility, new technology areas and also brand new stakeholders. And Allah is just very generous. I have spent the last 7 months of handling a very good skillful and responsive team. Lots of works, a very challenging works. And it take huge amount of adaptations. Feel very blessed about the whole this.

And what has been happening with my family is even a greater bless for me. Both Dhiyaa and Akhyaar are growing very well. Dhiyaa loves Akhyaar so much. Dhiyaa is a caring sister. She exchanges toys with Akhyaar and they both love to play together. The two also enjoys playing in a water pool.

Dhiyaa is becoming more talkative. Her collections of words are increasing. She remembers things very well. One day (on Wednesday), Bunda informs Dhiyaa that her uncle is having birthday on Saturday. Bunda told Dhiyaa that they will be going to uncle’ house by car and might need to buy a cake in between. On Friday, Bunda again ask her whether we wants to come to her uncle birthday. She said: “Yes of course, Uncle Arie is having birthday and we will be going there by car. And please don’t forget to buy the cake, Bunda”.  Dhiyaa, since her brother was born, knows exactly which toys belong to her and which ones belong to her brother. So sometimes when her brother wants to play with her toys, she quickly grab a toy (belong to her brother), and give it to him. 

Akhyaar is now walking, started on just a week after his first birthday. Akhyaar loves to play outside with his small car, pushing it all around the house area like a trolley.  He smiles to everyone and more loud than the sister. He likes water a lot. Never let the backdoor to the service area open. Otherwise he will walk there, grab everything he like and after that play with the water.  He knows how to clap hands, shake hands, give me 5 and many others. Akhyaar likes to look at books, too. And when we read him a story, he is paying a full attention.  He likes to play with Dhiyaa. And chasing cats, too.  When I call home, not only Dhiyaa is talking but Akhyaar is now start to talk and scream on the phone.

And now, after Akhyaar is walking, we are planning for his first trip to Taman Safari. We hope he’s gonna like it. And after that, we are planning to go for a 4 days holiday. Maybe in Bali.  It’s been 3 years since Ayah and Bunda last visit there. And next we will be coming with our children, our very first holiday off Java island.

Things are going very well. Alhamdulillah.
